Antea Cement’s Earth Day Celebration: Embracing the Motto ‘Each One, Plant One’

In the framework of Earth Day, a momentous occasion for environmental awareness, Antea Cement once again demonstrated its steadfast commitment to sustainability. Under the inspiring motto “Each one, plant one,” Antea Cement orchestrated a remarkable activity that united employees in a shared effort to enhance the environment.

The initiative involved planting trees and native plants in designated areas surrounding the cement plant. Proud to record 7,800 trees planted in Plant facilities creating green spaces and parks, as well as 11,800 fiddles planted in our Quarries, rehabilitating an area of 10.6 hectares.

Earth Day is an annual event, celebrated on April 22, on which day events worldwide are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. It was first celebrated in 1970, and is now coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network and celebrated in more than 193 countries each year.

As Antea Cement continues to lead by example, their Earth Day celebration serves as a reminder that we all have a role to play in building a greener, more sustainable future.
