ANTEA CEMENT joint effort between the University of Arts students and the esteemed Harabel Contemporary Art Center, aiming at tackling the urgent challenges of sustainable development in Albania. The outcome? An extraordinary event that artfully weaves together sustainability, art, and industry expertise. The heart of this initiative brought together 20 talented young artists, embarking on a transformative journey that included a captivating field trip to ANTEA Cement and culminated in a grand event that hosted over 150 professionals from various business industries in Petrelë, Tirana.

Art Meets Sustainability

The collaboration between University of Arts students and HARABEL by ANTEA CEMENT represents a harmonious fusion of art and sustainability. It underscores the importance of fostering creativity while embracing the principles of sustainability. Field Trip to ANTEA CEMENT:

  • Ms. Ajola Xoxa, the founder of HARABEL Contemporary, eloquently expressed the significance of the collaboration and the pivotal role that art plays in advocating for a more sustainable world.
  • Mr. Mario Bracci, CEO of ANTEA Cement, beautifully articulated that grey cement can adapt to the needs of a much more colorful tomorrow.
  • Mr. Ergys Krisiko, an artist and pedagogue at the University of Arts, shared his insights on the immense potential of art to inspire change and promote sustainability.
  • Ms. Matilda Pando, the Head of the Architect Society of Albania, discussed the relevance of sustainable architecture and design in achieving the SDGs.
