Proud to introduce the two new types of cement in our domestic market. (CEM II/B-LL 42,5 R) and export markets (CEM II/A-LL 42,5 R).
Manufactured with ecologically clean active minerals, these state-of-the-art products significantly reduce the use of clinker compared to the old types, while offering a wider range of consumption and performance to their application in concrete.
For all those interested to know more, the clinker factor in cement has been reduced by 5% for the domestic and by 9% for the exports. Through this innovative approach, we can now significantly reduce production costs and most importantly reduction by 5% of the CO2 emissions to the atmosphere, by making our business more sustainable.
During the trial period, we tested different strength enhancers, and we adjusted some process parameters in the cement mill, such as residue and blain to achieve the required strengths with reduced clinker. Additionally, to the trials in cement and concrete we carried out in the Plant, we involved some of our clients in Albania and Italy, to experiment with our new cement types and confirm their superior quality. The transition to the new cement types was rolled out without any problem.
