On February 22nd 2019, ANTEA Cement was awarded with the Philanthropy Award for the contribution given at local level with the motivation: “For continuous contribution to improve the life of communities in some administrative units in the Municipalities of Kruja and Kurbin, through interventions in infrastructure, health, innovation and social services”.   

The Philanthropy Awards Ceremony is an annual event organized since 2011 by Partners Albania for Development, a non-governmental organization committed to sustainable development. It aims to increase public awareness on the importance of philanthropy and publicly recognize the significant contributions made by individuals or companies.

On behalf of ANTEA Cement, the representative for the company Klajdi Gjondedaj (CSR & Communication) mentioned in his speech: “We take pride in the standards with which our company operates and our efforts to reflect them to the communities where we operate since day one of our presence in the country. Such an award is humbling and encourages us to continue this path. ANTEA will pursue its goal to maintain good neighborhood relations with communities, a fundamental European value. This award reflects the efforts and the investments implemented during these yeas of operations. Thank you very much, we appreciate this acknowledgment’.

ANTEA has implemented and contributed to a wide range of socially responsible interventions as: (i) Healthy Eyes for Successful Education (ii) Reconstruction of Droja Bridge (iii) Learning Computer Literacy Summer School, etc.
